We are looking for General Manager for our restaurants to ensure an efficient and smooth operation. You will be assigned to manage one or multiple outlets.

What you will be doing:

  • Report to the Owner and Executive Director
  • Manage and oversee day-to-day restaurant operations
  • Deliver exceptional guest service and experience
  • Monitor budgeted food sales, beverage sales and labour costs consistently to remain within budget and maximize the revenue
  • Manage P&L and provide strategies to drive the sales
  • Identify new business opportunities and build good relationships with business partner
  • Consistently look for ways to improve the overall running and management of the outlets to improve the guest experience and service quality
  • Hire, train and develop new and existing staff
  • Build a cohesive team that excels in service
  • Oversee weekly schedule and ensure staffing is optimal to operation needs
  • Ensure hygiene and cleanliness are maintained according to required standards
  • Handle guests’ enquiries and complaints

 

What we are looking for:

  • Degree in hospitality or a related discipline
  • Must have 3+ years of experience in the General Manager position and 8+ years of experience in the manager position
  • Experience working in Chinese restaurants/Coffee shops
  • Experience to oversee restaurants with multiple floors or multiple venues
  • Experience in event management
  • A motivational leader and a good team player
  • Passionate about people and able to develop your team along with you
  • Possess a customer-oriented mindset
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and problem-solving skills
  • Good command of written and spoken English and Cantonese

This PR & Communications role sits within the Marketing & Communications department of JIA Group and is responsible for creating and maintaining the public image across the portfolio. You are ideally an excellent storyteller, likes to socialise, actively pitch to targeted media and have a thorough understanding of the brand tone of voice. You will work closely with passionate individuals such as world-class chefs and outlet leads, strategists and marketeers to support your targeted objectives.

What you will be doing every day:

  • Plan and manage strategic quarterly/yearly PR initiatives within the portfolio.
  • Work and manage relevant stakeholders to coordinate interviews, events and more.
  • To undertake proactive media pitching across print and digital platforms.
  • Generate story ideas for the restaurants and build topical media angles.
  • Manage external PR agencies and internal stakeholders.
  • Measure and provide reports on each PR campaign.
  • Prepare relevant PR Toolkits eg. press release, fact sheets, bios.
  • Build long-term relationships with all relevant stakeholders.

What we are looking for:

  • Education in Journalism, PR, Communications or other related disciplines.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience required, preferably in hospitality (luxury), F&B (fine-dining) or related agencies.
  • Must have a thorough understanding of the Hong Kong F&B scene and have strong connections with media and KOLS.
  • Excellent command of English. Chinese is a bonus.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Loves to socialise!
  • Able to initiate and lead by example.
