Defining, Feng Shui & Temperance
Set within the historic Grade II-listed St Thomas’ Church, a destination in and of itself, the new cocktail menu takes inspiration from the defining style and individuality of the renowned drinks list from the original Duddell’s in Hong Kong. Crafted by JIA Group’s long-standing former bar manager and Diageo World Class Finalist James Barker, the revitalised menu at the London outpost will explore the world of flavours and textures from Asia and beyond in a manner that is unpretentious, elegant and honest.
The new cocktail menu will be split into three sections, first the Duddell’s Defining Cocktails, a selection of some of the most notable drinks to appear on Duddell’s Hong Kong’s menu since opening six years ago. Then the completely new Feng Shui creations, an understated range of drinks embodying one of the six principles of Feng Shui. For those wishing to try something without alcohol, the Temperance selection offers a refreshing selection of alcohol-free drinks which pair well with Cantonese cuisine.
Alongside this, Duddell’s will also introduce an exciting new afternoon menu showcasing a set selection of their most popular dim sum dishes with cocktails, available every day from 3pm-6pm. Diners can expect favourites such as the Pork siu mai (£7), Har gau (£7), Black pepper duck pumpkin dumpling (£7) Wild mushroom dumpling (£7) and famed Cantonese dim sum symphony (£19) on the menu which be enjoyed alongside the new cocktail creations.
By cutting out the pretences, the standout bar menus invite visitors to experience a collection of new cocktail blends along with signature classics and handcrafted dim sum, set against the backdrop of one of London’s most beautiful drinking and dining destinations. From a late afternoon treat to after-work drinks or a weekend indulgence, guests to Duddell’s can enjoy a relaxed and convivial atmosphere from day to night.
